Joe and Mike Skaggs Welcome You Joe is your host at Querencia Lodge and he takes personal responsibility for making sure you get the most out of your Montana visit. An avid outdoorsman, fly fisher and bow hunter, he teaches and guides with the knowledge and experience of someone who does it everyday.  Joe is well known for his rapport with children and specializes in teaching beginners all they need to know to fly fish on their own.  “Most of my guiding” he says, “is making sure people know where to go and how to get there and have everything they need for a great Montana experience.”  Mike is a senior at Montana State University. He spends his winters as a ski instructor at Bridger Bowl and his summers guiding hikers and rowing the Querencia drift boat on scenic floats down the Yellowstone.
